What Is Offered
The Bodega is Santa Monica College's first centralized student community food market. FREE and available to ALL students. We have a variety of items depending on what is donated weekly. We typically have the following items consistently.
Fresh Produce
Find a variety of fresh produce such as bananas, greens, tomatoes, potatoes, and more.
Toiletries
Toiletries and personal hygiene items are available. You will even find diapers, wipes, and menstrual hygiene products.
Canned Goods
Multiple brands of canned goods are always available. Dried and canned goods are almost always available.
How It Works
Please read the following instructions below before coming to campus. You must follow SMC's current COVID-19 protocols before arriving.
Find a Time
Check your schedule and find a Wednesday you can come by campus between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. You'll need to bring a photo ID, student ID number, and a bag to carry your items.
Get Directions
Download a map of campus here so you can easily locate the Bodega when you arrive at SMC. We are located on the east side of the main cafeteria.
Go Shopping
When you arrive be sure to have a photo ID (SMC student ID, Driver's License, passport, etc.) and have your student ID number ready. Bags are limited so please try to bring your own.
