Meal Project: Everytable

A free meal delivery service that allows you to choose seven (7) chef-prepared, nutritious meals, (1) Premium Add-on (such as sides and smoothies), and (2) desserts to be delivered directly to your home each week. All meals will arrive at once.

To participate in the Everytable program,  you are required to complete an online order form each week by 10:00 pm each Tuesday if you would like meals delivered the following week. Choose weekly from a new, expanded menu of 30+ items, including sides and smoothies!

Meal Project: Bento

A free meal pickup service that allows you to order free to-go meals from participating restaurants near you by texting your request. No app download required.

Choose from a variety of restaurants. Order one or multiple meals at a time, and your food will be ready for pick-up within 20 minutes of placing your order.  Bento program provides 7 meals per week = 28 meals per month.

CalFresh

CalFresh is California’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) that provides individuals and families with money to buy food and groceries. You may be eligible for up to $192 per month in CalFresh benefits!

Students and non-students can apply online at http://www.getcalfresh.org/. Applications can take as little as 10 minutes, are available in Spanish and Chinese languages, and you can receive money for food in as little as 30 days.

Bodega Cookbook

Our goal is to provide you with guidance for creating nutritious meals at home using items you can find in our pantry. Cooking at home, rather than relying on convenience foods, is a healthier and more cost-effective option. Find Easy, nutritious, low-cost, recipes for students!

We know students are pressed for time. That’s why each recipe requires minimal cooking and equipment. There are even some no-cook options. Each recipe will keep you full and focused for the school day ahead.
